Terpsichore (Superior with Sea View)
According to Greek mythology the lustful nature of Zeus led him to lie with Mnemosyne, a Titanide daughter of Gaia (Earth) and Uranos (Sky), goddess of memory and remembrance. He spend with Mnemosyne nine nights in Pieria region close to Olympus Mountain. As a result of this coupling, Mnemosyne did give birth to nine daughters, on consecutive days. One of these daughters is Terpsichore muse of dance and chorus. She lends her name to the word “terpsichorean“, which means “of or relating to dance.
