Overview
The location of this house is simply amazing. In the best part of the old town, built above the rocks, with fantastic sea views to be enjoyed from the terraces. This house is so enjoyable, you will fall in love with it! It has a room downstairs with separate entrance, with 2 single beds, an en-suite bathroom and a smallkitchen. The room has big windows and offers the most stunning views, day and night. Upstairs is a spacious room with a double bed and a double sofa bed, and a bathroom with a washing machine. There is a private walled court yard, with lovely plants and flowers. Each room has its own terrace, with seats and a table. The decoration is surprising. This stone-built house combines elements of all the continents, as its creator was a seaman who loved bringing home souvenirs. He managed to combine all these foreign elements in a surprising way into a really lovely and atmospheric home. This house is ideal for 2 couples, or friends, that want to be private, yet together. You will find the beach of Megali Ammos on walking distance, as well as the rocks of Plakes. The walking distance to the port is a round 5 minutes, and to the main street maybe 7. The upstairs terrace is ideal for star-gazing at night, and one never gets tired of the view of the sea, the boats and the island.

Testimonials
We stayed at Plakes view at the end of a Greek island adventure, and this property was by far the most beautiful. Perfect location, five minute walk to the busy port, and five minutes to the bus stop and beach. The views are breathtaking and I looked forward to sitting on either of the 2 terraces watching the sunset every day. The house is quirky and feels very authentic. We stayed for a week, and I was still finding interesting things at the property at the end of the week. Walking around the location of the property felt very safe and by the end, we both felt like locals!

Plenty of polite touches
We had an amazing stay , the house is exactly as the pictures. Very quirky with absolutely amazing outside space and views. Gigi was very responsive to any communications we had with her. The old port is a short walk away, through lovely authentic Greek cobbled streets with lovely Taverners, shops and plenty of boat trips to beaches and other Islands, however, I would say the house is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is a steep climb back to the house. Short walk to bus stop 4 where you can get the bus to any other parts of the island and beaches you want to get to. It was our first visit to Skiathos and will definitely be back it is beautiful.
