The hotel is very nice, well-kept and well equipped. The pool is just as clean and nice to look at, the loungers with the super thick cushions very comfortable! Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service from Aggelos, the restaurant manager, who, together with his team, makes sure that you feel completely at ease. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We’ve just returned from a week’s stay and we loved every second. The staff were all AMAZING (particular shout to the beautiful Victoria who put up with the copious drinks requests during the day with the biggest smile), the hotel was beautifully maintained, and the pool area was absolutely amazing.
We were on the island for a wedding with 40 people spread around various hotels, and Hotel Avaton became a favourite for a few of us to meet at, and everyone that visited said they’d choose to stay there in future.
It’s a peaceful hotel, in a perfect location (very quick walk to everything you’d need…beach, tavernas, supermarkets etc. Also, relatively flat walk for Skiathos too!
Just returned after one week holiday in this fabulous hotel. it was really just the most relaxing holiday. From the moment we stepped to the hotel we were made to feel so welcome! The staff re all wonderful always smiling and giving a first class service. We ate several times at the hotel and it was all of a very high standard. Service was always perfect too. The pool and garden area was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was rich and room very clean. Thank u so much to the whole team for making our week so perfect. we ll be back
