Both Agia Paraskevi the village and the beach have been named after the chapel located in the area and are around 7 kilometres far from Skiathos town. The village extends to a large valley which includes to the east the beautiful area of Kolios and the homonymous beach. As in most of the island, there is a variety of accommodation, with many villas, suites or studios and a 5-star hotel. Here you will find a lot of taverns serving Greek dishes as well as restaurants with Mediterranean and international cuisine. Both areas are suitable for every visitor, no matter their age or preference. There are plenty of bars and cafes around to keep you entertained at night. The two beaches, both awarded with blue flag are in a very short distance from the resorts and organised with beach bars and restaurants. The sea there is quite calm, ideal for families and young children. For walkers, there are walking trails to Kechria forest through the valley.
