Euterpe (Sea View)
According to Greek mythology the lustful nature of Zeus led him to lie with Mnemosyne, a Titanide daughter of Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (Sky), goddess of memory and remembrance. He spend with Mnemosyne nine nights in Pieria region close to Olympus Mountain. As a result of this coupling, Mnemosyne did give birth to nine daughters, on consecutive days. One of these daughters is Euterpe the muse of music. Her name means “delight” in Greek, ultimately from εὖ (eu) meaning “good” and τέρπω (terpo) meaning “to satisfy, to cheer”
